On the fifth of November 2022, electroacoustic research partnership Robinson & Robertson played a game of their own invention for the first time. This took place under the gaze of a willing audience as part of the Noisevember event held at the Static Age venue in the Victorian suburb of Footscray.

The culmination of a years-long interest in the audible phenomena produced by strategic game-playing, they utilised a collection of bespoke electronic equipment and a consumer-grade digital chess timer to transpose this act of play into something that an observer would perceive as twenty minutes of live noise music performance.

After a period of intensive study, R&R have determined that the audible results of the first game played in this manner are now fit to release to the general public.
